The Senior Applications Systems Analyst will define, design, develop, deploy, and support complete solutions in the CRIS department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center using Microsoft .NET, Oracle Forms, SQL Server and Oracle. This person will closely engage with other business and IT professionals and participate in all areas of the development life-cycle. Ideal candidate will have a currently strong background in Microsoft technologies with substantial past experience in Oracle Forms and Reports. The ideal candidate will have or be working towards relevant Microsoft Certifications (MCAD .NET, MCSD .NET, MCDBA).

SKILLS:

Required: Three years of technical experience in developing / supporting high availability, mission critical applications using Microsoft .Net. More than 3 years of experience with Oracle Forms and Reports. Experience as the lead in developing medium to large sized projects using .Net and Oracle or MS SQL Server with a focus on performance, scalability and security.

Experience in analysis/design/project management/programming. Required 7 Years
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Required

Preferred: The required experience plus prior consulting experience (3-5 years) as a developer and client manager and/or prior healthcare business operations (3-5 years) and / or clinical practice experience. Experience developing web services in Microsoft .Net.

Required General Skills

· Experience in technical upgrade from 4.6 or lower version to ECC6 including performing fixes to the custom objects
· Hands on experience with scheduling jobs and creation distribution lists
· 5+ years experience with WebMethods interfaces
· 5+ years of MM experience
· 5+ years of SAP R/3 FI/CO
