Position: Windows 2003 / Citrix / VMware Administrator

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 18 months



Skills and expertise required:

Project: two qualified candidates to assist in the management of its Microsoft technology-based infrastructure as well as with its Citrix and VMWare server base. Overall, the candidates selected for this 18-month position will be primarily augmenting the Client’s staff in the implementation and/or management of the following technologies:

• Windows Server

• Active Directory

• VMWare

• Citrix Presentation Server

• Exchange

• SMS/SCCM

• Sharepoint



Skills required for project:

1. Minimum of four (4) years experience implementing, configuring, and managing a Windows Server 2003 infrastructure including Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, and DNS for an environment of at least 1000 users across multiple remote locations.

2. Possession of an MSCE 2003 certification.

3. 1+ years of experience with managing a VMWare 3.0 or greater server environment.

4. 1+ years of experience with the maintenance and administration of a Citrix Presentation Server 3.0 or greater farm.



HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

1. 1+ years of experience managing all features of Microsoft’s SMS 2003 or greater or SCCM.

2. 1+ years of experience with Exchange 2003 or greater administration in an environment with a minimum of 1000 mailboxes.

3. 1+ years of experience with implementing and maintaining a Microsoft Sharepoint server base and infrastructure.



All experience a candidate claims to have must be clearly reflected in the candidate’s resume with precise indication of number of months or years.



Proficiency in speaking and comprehending the English language (Must be able to speak English that can be understood by native speakers of English and must be able to comprehend English when spoken by native speakers of English.).
