Project description: Client’s project involves changes to the existing
Client’s application used by Energy Delivery Transmission to manage the inspection of transmission towers. This project involves an upgrade and enhancement's to the existing Client’s application. The positions will require performing code changes in Visual studio 2005 VB.NET as specified from the detail design as well as associated unit and integration testing. Some overtime may be required.
The requested individuals must be able to:
Code from detail designs
Communicate with the lead developer to resolve any gaps found in the design Provide status updates to the lead developer and project manager.
Develop and execute unit test cases
Respond to issues found in all other testing phases
Background in the following languages, tools, etc:
3+ years using Visual Studio .NET
3+ years experience in VB.net
Prefer recent experience in Visual Studio 2005 building thick clients
Experience with the use of Infragistics Controls Experience developing test cases in NUNIT
Experience with version control systems (CVS) is a plus
Technical background includes:
3+ years experience in Object Oriented programming
Comfortable providing estimates
Strong Oracle Background
Other Skills:
Strong Communication skills
Can work well in a team environment
