Summary:
Brief Description of Assignment:
The c and idate will provide Oracle database and data warehouse support for the Business Intelligence - Decision Support team. The c and idate will assist the team's Information Architect in the design, development and implementation of a new data warehouse. The c and idate will also work with other team members to support existing databases and will be responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving, and performance tuning.

Personal Skills Required:
C and idate should be willing to work closely with internal customers. The successful applicant will have both exceptional data analysis skills and communication skills. The c and idate will be working closely with the team's Information Architect to determine the users' needs and provide the best possible solution. The individual should be highly motivated, have strong organizational skills, initiative, and be able to h and le multiple priorities.

Technical Skills Required:
· Practical h and s-on experience in applying Oracle database and data warehousing technologies to business problems, designing and implementing database and data warehouse solutions. Position dem and s solid Oracle 8, 9 or 10 development experiences.
· The c and idate must have experience developing ETL using Informatics’ Power Center .
· Additional Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus:
· A working knowledge of Cognos tools, UNIX, and Java would be a plus.
