We are looking for a .Net Developer who will be involved in helping design and develop a new retail system and ecommerce website.
This position is responsible for the development of SSIS packages and T-SQL Scripts required for data migration from an older Fox Pro database into a new SQL Server 2005 database. The position will also be responsible for helping to implement an enterprise reporting solution for data warehouse and crystal reports integration with the retail system.
Candidate should be well versed in web applications and Microsoft technologies. This position additionally requires a wide variety of programming background, and a strong programming discipline and database programming knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Develop SSIS packages and T-SQL scripts required for data migration/upload and ETL projects.
Develop SSIS packages for night runs to the data warehouse
Develop crystal reports and integrate them into the new retail system.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of the .NET architecture and object oriented design principles.
Strong knowledge of database architectures, T-SQL, and stored procedures in MS SQL Server 2005.
Must have some experience in developing data transformation packages/scripts for data migration and ETL.
Experience developing and integrating Crystal Reports into ASP.Net Applications.
Experience with the following technologies: ASP.Net, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, C#, CSS and XML.
A high level of organization and attention to detail
Good Communication / Written Skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
