All AFS experience needs to be current and candidate should have at least 3 years working in this environment.
Duration: 15 weeks with 1-2 week break around Christmas
Scope: define future state business capabilities, develop a business case and roadmap for ERP with a focus on planning, supply chain and finance
Requirements:
4+ years experience in the wholesale apparel industry with business process design, process flow modeling and requirements definition for the planning, distribution, inventory management, sourcing and supply chain aspects of the apparel industry. Implementation experience with SAP AFS highly desirable.
Specific knowledge of AFS sku/style color, size item data model, MDM and product catalog to support multi-channel direct to consumer solutions and interface to third party planning solutions such as Manugistics required.
Candidate must have an understanding of the seasonal demand & procurement planning, sourcing, vendor collaboration, purchasing and inventory management processes of the apparel industry. Understanding of production planning, contract manufacturing, private label and cost accounting business functions of a wholesale apparel manufacturer required.
MBA preferred with a focus on planning, distribution, and supply chain management for the wholesale apparel and retail industry
