Work Location: Columbia, SC.

NOTE: This requirement might need F2F Interview.
SAP Public Sector experience with State Government strongly preferred.
Job Description:
Working under the direction of SCDHHS Finance and Human Resources Directors, the consultant will provide functional and technical consulting services related to the design, development, testing and on-going maintenance of the SAP software at the agency level with an emphasis on the FI module.
• Lead SCDHHS staff in the analysis of “As-Is” business processes, develop “To-Be” Process Flows for users and transfer knowledge to the SCDHHS Team Members;
• Escalate issues to SCDHHS HR and Finance Directors in a timely manner;
• Manage Department deliverables and timelines in alignment with overall SCEIS Program requirements;

Required Skills:
• A minimum of 3-5 years of in-depth, hands on SAP experience required.
• The SAP functional consultant must have prior SAP implementation experience within the public sector specifically State Government and an in-depth knowledge of the SAP Funds and Grants Management functionality for public sector organizations.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office software including: PowerPoint, Word, Access, Novell GroupWise and Excel; Knowledge/experience with the following applications: FI – AR / AP / FL / AA; CO – Controlling / Internal orders/Projects; PS – Funds Management / Grants Management; Integration with Materials Management; and BI for Financials a plus.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills (with all levels of the organization) with a very good command of the English language and ability to communicate complex ideas and subjects accurately, clearly and concisely;
• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain partnerships within different business units, with diverse groups and within the team environment.
• Experience in the development of project documentation; Ability to accurately and completely document business process and software gaps and understand potential solutions utilizing SAP’s PS and Financials Suite.
• Ability to develop business process diagrams / swim lanes to various levels of detail using Visio or other process modeling tools.
• Ability to assist with preparing SME’s to undertake training for end users; Access and training on infrastructure utilized for the SCEIS Project; Ability to assist with development of training materials.
• Ability to assist with development of end to end integrated test scenarios.
• Familiarity with SAP testing process and able to help prepare users for integration and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with SAP data conversion approaches, able to assist SME’s / data owners with data cleansing processes and preparation of data for conversion to SAP system.
• Experience with development of detailed BPP’s to document new processes as well as serve as on-going training tools. Able to assist users with adoption of new procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, complete important time sensitive and confidential tasks, and adapt quickly to last minute changes
