This role will support the production, integration and implementation of current and new application infrastructure capabilities specifically related to GWMG WebSphere/Java infrastructure



1) Production Support

- Lead troubleshooting and resolutions effort for WebSphere/Java implementations.

- Monitoring and application performance

- Request / problem management

- Management of incidents

- Processing of incidents

- Develop Work around

- Resolution

- Deployment of patches

- Root cause analysis

- Assist with system administration for production systems



2) Support Level Role

- Support Level 1 Initial trouble shooting and diagnosis

- Support Level 2 Technical support group and operations applications support team

- Provide Level 3 Specialist team and application development team



3) Configuration/Installation

- Define configuration standards

- Work with third parties to review and oversee vendor package Installation.

- Implement configuration changes

- Perform Installations into the WebSphere/Java environments.



4) Engineering

- Must have experienced with engineering Websphere XDR plant with clustering

- Should have experience with setting up infrastructure plants and should have worked in production environments

- Should have experience with installing and configuring dynamic clusters with websphere
