PeopleSoft Absence Management Specialist, New Orleans, LA Up to $85.00 $90.00 Corp to Corp.

The resource will be responsible for tasks to configure and implement the PeopleSoft Absence Management 9.0 module within an existing 8.3/8.8 environment and identifying the impact to existing customizations that would require changes based on the customizations already made to the existing environment.

5-7 years functional experience in Peoplesoft 8.x Absence Management

AM configuration and configuration documentation

Design and development of AM custom rules and integration with T&L

Experience with AM custom rules for union contracts

Strong analytical/development skills to look at custom code (App Engine, Peoplecode, SQR) to determine needed changes to meet requirements, particularly in system interfaces.

Strong documentation skills – for design and test plans

PeopleTools - must be able to move around our system to access code to analyze current system

Independent Worker - little dependence on others to research current system and problems

People skills - will be working closely with the customers for gathering details



Desired:

Experience with Peoplesoft Finance / HR modules desired.

Application Engine experience a plus.

Required Skills:

3-5 years experience in Peoplesoft 8.x Time and Labor
